What I’m reading

Tick Tock by James Patterson and Micheal Ledwidge

I’ve been a fan of James Patterson since I saw the movie Kiss the Girls and found out it was based on his book. I’ve eagerly gobbled up every Alex Cross book since. This is the first book I’ve read with Mike Bennett as the main character.

I normally don’t have a lot of time to read but the blurb on the inside flap of this book hooked me. He’s easy to read with short chapters and great description. He manages to surprise with twists and turns that come out of nowhere and have left me breathless with previous books.

I’m halfway through and I love it. Love it so much I wil be picking up the rest of the books in the series. The serial killer in this book is re-enacting acts of other nortorious New York killers. The authors are slowly peeling back the layers of the killer that continue to creep me out yet keep me coming back to find out what he’s going to do next.

I’m normally not a big thriller fan but Patterson has yet to disappoint me. The fast pace and tight story keep me turning the page dying to know what is going to happen next. I totally recommend him if you want a wild ride of thrills and chills and can’t wait to see what happens at the end of the book.
